First Section :
Cobblestones Journey
After meeting the tour guide, information on Plaza Vieja will be given by him/her about the history, sculptures, sites of interests and main buildings in the square. The tour continues walking until reaching Brazil Street, or Teniente Rey Street as it’s also named, which will leads you to Oficios Street and to the next square. Saint Francis of Assisi, the closest square to the bay, known by the locals as Pigeon’s Square. After, you should walk on Amargura Street on your way to Mercaderes Street, where amenities like “The Perfume House”, an old Armory, or the first Printer House in Town are located. Later on, you’ll stand on Obispo Street, the most popular and visited street in town. Arms Square waits for you, the most important square in the city and the cradle of the magnificent and unique Havana. Last but not least Cathedral Square where Holy Mary Immaculate Conception gives you the welcome. Talking about religion(s) inside the church, meeting a fortune teller (Miss Havana) onsite, and taking a glimpse at “La Bodeguita del Medio” are the highlights of this area.
Second Section :
Wind in your hair
The drive starts reaching and going throughout the Promenade (Paseo del Prado) which divides Old Havana from Center Havana. A panoramic view of Central Park, Great Theatre of Havana, Capitol Building, American Fraternity Park and Chinatown will be disclosure. The ride continues far and wide in the city sightseeing highlights like Havana University and Revolution Square. Afterwards a whole different section of Havana will be visited, New Havana with its wider streets and old mansions where you’ll have the opportunity of getting surprised by Columbus Cemetery and the lungs of our beloved city, Havana Forest. Later on, on the way back to old town you’ll be driven by all over a section of the Malecón.
